Bad news about America’s economy continues to flow during Joe Biden’s term as president.
Dutch farmers are expanding their protests against the government’s climate agenda.
Florida Congressman Michael Waltz responded to a Fox News poll that says fewer Americans are proud of the U.S. by taking aim at the education system and the "garbage" being taught in schools on "Hannity."
REP. MICHAEL WALTZ: If you look at the polling data you see a steady decline over the last decade-plus. I point to our education system. COVID exposed to us the garbage being taught in our schools. When it's taught in our schools that this is a fundamentally bad country, that at its core it is misogynist, racist, colonialist. It wasn’t founded to establish individual freedom for "we the people" away from monarchies and emperors. That it was established to protect slavery. When that is being taught in our schools and on top of that you have things in math class, which we discovered in Florida.
Nearly 40,000 Army National Guard personnel who refused to take the experimental COVID vaccine after the deadline will be barred from participating in federal training and may face financial fines or possible expulsion.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced he was establishing a Civic Literacy Excellence Initiative to give a better education to Florida students.
The Ukrainian military uses cluster munitions prohibited by the convention.
Western cluster munitions banned by the Convention on Cluster Munitions began to be used in Ukraine. As it turned out, several NATO countries at once, including those that signed and ratified the agreement, decided to transfer their weapons to Ukraine, which began to actively use them to carry out attacks.
As it became known, 155-mm cluster munitions 155 BONUS were handed over to the Ukrainian military. The latter are capable of hitting targets at distances up to 35 kilometers and pose a rather serious danger. In fact, the NATO countries that transferred such ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the Convention on Cluster Munitions.
President Joe Biden has given his marching orders to the Democrat base of voters, begging them to give him more Democrats senators and Congressmembers.
It came during a virtual meeting with governors on Friday when he said that Congress would have to codify Roe V Wade.
“I know you’re all busy as I am. Thank you for making the time with us. I need not tell any of you we’re in a really important area here and we have to act,” he said.
“I’m joined by a group of Democratic governors as we work closely to protect women’s rights after this tragic reversal of Roe v. Wade — a terrible, extreme decision, in my view, upending the lives and impacting on the health and safety of millions of women.
“And I share the public outrage at this extremist Court that’s committed to moving America backwards with fewer rights, less autonomy, and politicians invading the most personal of decisions of not only women but we’ll find, if they expend — expand on this decision, men as well,” the president said.
Judicial Watch announced today that YouTube censored a Judicial Watch video about Biden corruption and election integrity issues in the 2020 election. The video titled “Impeach? Biden Corruption Threatens National Security” was falsely determined to be “election misinformation” and removed by YouTube, and Judicial Watch’s YouTube account was suspended for a week. The video featured an interview of Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. Judicial Watch continues to post its video content on its Rumble channel (https://rumble.com/vz7aof-fitton-impeach-biden-corruption-threatens-national-security.html).
Judicial Watch is America’s largest nonpartisan government watchdog group, and the latest YouTube attack limits its ability to share its educational content with its nearly half-million YouTube subscribers. Judicial Watch is also the nation’s leading election integrity organization, and has testified to Congress on the issue. It most recently filed a lawsuit that stopped an extreme gerrymander by Democrats in Maryland. Judicial Watch has also successfully pursued federal litigation in multiple states to clean up millions of dirty names from voter registration lists. YouTube previously deleted a Judicial Watch video at the request of California government officials, according to documents uncovered by Judicial Watch last year. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton was also banned by the Chinese communist-controlled Tik-Tok earlier this year. (The Heritage Foundation was also censored by YouTube this week.)
“YouTube again censored Judicial Watch to help advance a partisan and leftist agenda on election and other debates,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Just in time for another election season, Big Tech, with the direct encouragement of President Joe Biden, is escalating the corrupt ‘Great Suppression’ of conservative and government critics online. Elon Musk’s commitment to free speech is welcome but Big Tech remains an enemy of the First Amendment.”

The grinding two-plus years of the pandemic have yielded outsize benefits for one company—Pfizer—making it both highly influential and hugely profitable as covid-19 continues to infect tens of thousands of people and kill hundreds each day.
Its success in developing covid medicines has given the drugmaker unusual weight in determining U.S. health policy. Based on internal research, the company’s executives have frequently announced the next stage in the fight against the pandemic before government officials have had time to study the issue, annoying many experts in the medical field and leaving some patients unsure whom to trust.
Pfizer’s 2021 revenue was $81.3 billion, roughly double its revenue in 2020, when its top sellers were a pneumonia vaccine, the cancer drug Ibrance, and the fibromyalgia treatment Lyrica, which had gone off-patent.
Now its mRNA vaccine holds 70 percent of the U.S. and European markets. And its antiviral Paxlovid is the pill of choice to treat early symptoms of covid. This year, the company expects to rake in more than $50 billion in global revenue from the two medications alone.
Paxlovid’s value to vaccinated patients isn’t yet clear, and Pfizer’s covid vaccine doesn’t entirely prevent infections, although each booster temporarily restores some protection. Yet, while patients may recoil at the need for repeated injections—two boosters are now recommended for people 50 and older—the requirement is gold for investors.
A large group of people carrying flags and shields marched along downtown Boston's Freedom Trail Saturday, according to the Boston Police Department -- and video footage of the group obtained by CNN shows the flags bearing the symbol of the White nationalist Patriot Front group.
Police received a call at 12:30 p.m. that around 100 people were protesting, walking on Congress Street toward the Old State House and City Hall Plaza, BPD Officer Kim Tavares told CNN. No arrests were made, nor was their route known, Tavares said. The group eventually boarded a train and departed from the scene, the officer added.
Social media video posted online shows dozens of individuals clutching shields and at least two different flags, including Patriot Front flags and upside-down US flags. Last month, a group believed to be affiliated with the Patriot Front was arrested after authorities said they planned to riot at a Pride event in Idaho.
In a letter posted on Facebook, City Councilor Ed Flynn lamented the Patriot Front's repeated presence at events in Boston during the past year.
The head of the United Nations just warned that we are heading into an “unprecedented global hunger crisis”, and people are already dropping dead of starvation in Africa. For months I have been documenting the signs that severe food shortages were on the way, and now they have begun.
Of course, there are many reasons why we are facing such a dire situation. Weather patterns have gone completely haywire all over the planet, the COVID pandemic has played havoc with global supply chains, and the war in Ukraine is greatly restricting the flow of agricultural resources out of one of the key breadbaskets in the entire world. Unfortunately, what we have experienced so far is just the tip of the iceberg.
On Friday, UN chief Antonio Guterres publicly warned that there will be an “unprecedented global hunger crisis”…
The world faces the prospect of a mass starvation “catastrophe” driven by unprecedented food shortages, U.N. chief Antonio Guterres warned Friday.
Guterres pointed to the conflict in Ukraine as exacerbating disruptions caused by “climate change, the coronavirus pandemic and inequality” to produce an “unprecedented global hunger crisis” already affecting hundreds of millions of people.
Embattled Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Thursday’s night debate stage justified the war in Ukraine, while challenger Harriet Hageman said former President Donald Trump would have prevented it.
“It’s the frontline in the battle for freedom,” Cheney said of President Joe Biden’s involvement in the conflict with arms gifts and intelligence operations.
Dick Cheney’s daughter, who has been dubbed by Trump as a “warmonger,” has consistently supported Biden’s costly involvement in defending Ukraine’s border from Russia, aligning herself with Biden’s administration.
“[O]n the issue of Ukraine, there is no daylight between us [Biden],” Cheney wrote in a Washington Post May 6 op-ed. “And there should be no partisan divide among members in Congress. It must be the policy of the United States that the strategic objective in Ukraine is a victory for a free and democratic Ukraine.”
But Cheney’s opponent has taken a different approach to the war in Ukraine. Speaking on the debate stage with Cheney, Hageman said Russian President Vladimir Putin never would have invaded Ukraine if Trump’s strength was still in the White House.
“Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if President Trump was still the president,” she said. “I truly believe that there is a special place in hell for people who will adopt policies that are intended to increase the cost of energy, housing, and food, and that’s exactly what the current administration is doing.”
As food inflation worsens, a sense of desperation is seizing the minds of the American people, and some of them are lashing out in acts of violence against workers at grocery stores and other food retail locations. America is now seeing a shocking rise in retail location violence that seems destined to only get worse.
Joe Biden’s catastrophic economic and energy policies have led to a 400% increase in the price of fertilizer, a 100% increase in the price of diesel fuel, supply chain disruptions and food production shortfalls. Even infant formula has been in a supply chain crisis, and the cost of agricultural inputs today means far higher prices in the coming months.
The result is record high food inflation that keeps getting worse. Higher costs of food gobble up higher percentages of discretionary incomes for consumers, hitting low-income consumers especially hard. When food prices rise to the point of requiring 50% of a person’s income just to eat, history tells us that societies break down and lurch into uprisings and revolts.
Now, even the New York Times (via Yahoo News) is covering the trend, reporting that violence against grocery and retail workers is exploding:
In her 37 years in the grocery industry, said Kim Cordova, a union president in Colorado, she had never experienced the level of violence that her members face today.
An Arizona political party is stirring up some major controversy with support for a “F*** the Fourth” event disparaging Independence Day.
Saudi Arabia, the largest U.S. export market in the Middle East, invited Chinese President Xi to visit Riyadh in March as relations with the U.S. have faltered since Joe Biden was elected, The Wall Street Journal reported.

A group of Jewish settlers brutally assaulted an elderly Palestinian man on Sunday, near the village of Kafr al-Labad in the northern West Bank province of Tulkarm, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that a group of Jewish settlers, armed with rifles, brutally assaulted and beat up Mustafa Hussein Fuqaha, 70, while he was in his own land outside the village, causing him bruises and fractures across his body.
The 70-year-old Palestinian man was rushed to the Thabet Public Hospital in the nearby city of Tulkarm for medical treatment, the eyewitnesses added.
The common representation of Israel’s birth is that the UN created Israel, that the world was in favor of this move, and that the US governmental establishment supported it. All these assumptions are demonstrably incorrect.
In reality, while the UN General Assembly recommended the creation of a Jewish state in part of Palestine, that recommendation was non-binding and never implemented by the Security Council.
Second, the General Assembly passed that recommendation only after Israel proponents threatened and bribed numerous countries in order to gain a required two-thirds of votes.
Third, the US administration supported the recommendation out of domestic electoral considerations, and took this position over the strenuous objections of the State Department, the CIA, and the Pentagon.
The passage of the General Assembly recommendation sparked increased violence in the region. Over the following months the armed wing of the pro-Israel movement, which had long been preparing for war, perpetrated a series of massacres and expulsions throughout Palestine, implementing a plan to clear the way for a majority-Jewish state.
It was this armed aggression, and the ethnic cleansing of at least three-quarters of a million indigenous Palestinians, that created the Jewish state on land that had been 95 percent non-Jewish prior to Zionist immigration and that even after years of immigration remained 70 percent non-Jewish. And despite the shallow patina of legality its partisans extracted from the General Assembly, Israel was born over the opposition of American experts and of governments around the world, who opposed it on both pragmatic and moral grounds.
Let us look at the specifics.
The whole war in Ukraine could and should have been avoided. Russia had simple demands:
- Don’t join NATO
- Be Neutral
- Recognize Crimea, a part of Russia
But it seems NATO, dominated by the United States wanted this war.
Just like Afghanistan invasion by USSR in 1979, they want to repeat that in Ukraine to weaken Russia. So, they are waging a proxy war using poor people of Ukraine as pawns. Not only provoking Russia by expanding NATO closer and closer to Russia’s eastern border has created this war resulting in global food and oil shortage affecting millions of poor people around the world, but it has brought the world closer to nuclear World War-III.
It is an utterly irresponsible policy by United States and its NATO allies. There was no need for this. Russia’s invasion is a very unfortunate act but NATO’s arrogant policy towards Russia over the past quarter-century bears a major responsibility for this terrible war.
In 1990, the Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to let both Germany unify provided America would not expand NATO one inch eastward towards Russia beyond the territory of East Hermany.
James Baker, US Secretary of State promised. So, both east and west Germany were unified while USSR collapsed. But soon after, United States broke that promise by expanding NATO towards Russia. Bill Clinton and George Bush Jr. both kept expanding NATO by including former Warsaw Pact countries into NATO. In 1991, Bill Clinton added Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia into NATO. In 2004, George Bush Jr. welcomed seven more countries-Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia–to become NATO members.
In 1990, there were 17 countries in NATO. Today, there are 30. And now, they want to add Ukraine which is right on Russia’s eastern border. Naturally Russia has been provoked.
Ukraine has no strategic value for the United States except to encircle Russia.
China, India, Russia and other free nations face difficulties of mutual respect and trust when engaging with the rulers of Japan, because Japan is not a sovereign nation.
Imperial Japan surrendered to the United States of America on August 15, 1945, ending World War II. Ever since then, Japanese rulers have to reassure themselves with their US occupiers before they sign anything with other countries, which basically prevents Asia‘s unification.
America took Japan apart.
First, America seized all Japanese weapons, machines, blueprints and inventions. Next, it took over food and energy supplies. Last, it persecuted hundreds of thousands of nationalists to stoke fear in the population: Obey!
America wanted Japan’s everything, including war reparations, gold reserves, manufacturing and services.
Japan would have to pay for its own US-occupation until the end of time. Currently, Tokyo spends about 8 billion dollars a year to maintain all 34 American bases.

Fresh of their victory over the key stronghold of Sievierodonetsk, Russian forces have claimed victory over its sister city of Lysychansk, which puts Russia in total control of the Luhansk province. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu affirmed as much in a Sunday statement, while the Ukrainian regional governor of Luhansk, Serhiy Haidai, said the "city is on fire".
"Sergei Shoigu has informed the commander in chief of the Russian armed forces, Vladimir Putin, of the liberation of the People's Republic of Luhansk [LPR]," the defense ministry said in a statement.
Russia's military and its separatist allies are now "full control of Lysychansk and other nearby towns, notably Belogorovka, Novodruzhesk, Maloryazantseve and Bila Hora," the statement added.
As for the aforementioned regional governor Haidai, he wrote on Telegram that "the Russians are reinforcing their positions in the Lysychansk region."
"The Russians are entrenched in the Lysychansk district, the city is on fire. The occupiers probably deployed all their forces at Lysychansk. They attacked the city with inexplicably brutal tactics," Haidai said.
As Luhansk and its breakaway pro-Russian republic is one of the two key regions that form Donbas, this puts Moscow a major step closer to achieving its stated goal of liberating all of the Donbas.
A representative of the LPR militia, Andrei Marochko, said the city was being "cleared of Ukrainian nationalists" and said "victory flags have already been installed" near Lysychansk, as cited in CNN. Some reports have said that local pro-Russian citizens have erected a Soviet flag at a central city monument.
Former CIA director and secretary of state Mike Pompeo gave a speech at the Hudson Institute last week that’s probably worth taking a look at just because of how much it reveals about the nature of the US empire and the corrupt institutions which influence its policies.
Pompeo is serving as a “Distinguished Fellow” at the Hudson Institute while he waits for the revolving door of the DC swamp to rotate him back into a federal government position. The Hudson Institute is a neoconservative think tank which has a high degree of overlap with the infamous Project for the New American Century and its lineup of Iraq war architects, and spends a lot of its time manufacturing Beltway support for hawkish agendas against Iran. It was founded in 1961 with the help of a cold warrior named Herman Kahn, whose enthusiastic support for the idea that the US can win a nuclear war with the Soviet Union was reportedly an inspiration for the movie Dr Strangelove.
A think tank is an institution where academics are paid by the worst people in the world to come up with explanations for why it would be good and smart to do something evil and stupid, which are then pitched at key points of influence in the media and the government. “Think tank” is a good and accurate label for these institutions, because they are dedicated to controlling what people think, and because they are artificial enclosures for slimy creatures.
“It’s like going to the ATM in Vegas and then going to the roulette wheel and it comes up red and you go back to the ATM.”
The remark was recently made by Steve Mermell. The man retired last year as city manager of Pasadena, California. He knows a thing or two about how borrowing to enhance pension fund returns can result in spectacular losses.
The Wall Street Journal article did not clarify whether red was a winning turn of the roulette wheel or not. Within the article’s context it didn’t really matter.
The main point was that public pension funds are grossly underfunded. Consequently, more and more pension funds are borrowing money to play the markets. The goal is to boost returns to cover their massive funding gaps.
If you recall, public-sector retirement plans offer defined benefits, where retiree pension checks are calculated based on salaries and years of service. Private employers, on the other hand, generally offer defined-contribution plans (like 401Ks), where payouts are based on market returns.
If you live long enough, and are a recipient of a public pension fund you will get out far more than you put in. If you work in the private sector, there’s a good chance you will outlive your retirement savings.
