Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced Friday that she was getting her nails done as an “act of reclamation” following last week’s 6-3 Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization — which resulted in a 5-4 decision overturning landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

The city of Orlando has issued a statement saying that they “regret” sending out an email promoting their fireworks display that said “a lot of people probably don’t want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can’t blame them.”

 Amina and Sarah Said were teenagers on New Year’s Eve 2007. Amina, 18, and Sarah, 17, had been allegedly abused by the father for years, both physically and sexually.  An investigation into accusations that Meghan Markle bullied royal aides has concluded. But the findings are being kept under wraps, allegedly because Buckingham Palace is “terrified” of antagonizing Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, who’ve routinely trashed all-things royal.
