Iceland could be ‘punished’ for Palestinian flag display at Eurovision, say Israeli hosts

The Israeli broadcaster of the Eurovision said Iceland could be punished for holding up Palestinian flags during live coverage of the competition’s voting results.

Members of the Hatari group held up Palestinian flags with ‘Palestine’ written on them as the cameras were fixed on them during the announcement of their public votes at the final on Saturday night. The protest generated boos and cheers from the crowd at the Tel Aviv event, and support online.

Security quickly confiscated the flags from the band who were sitting in the green room at the time.

“The Icelanders will apparently be punished by the European Broadcasting Union, which is really not tolerant of those who violate its rules,” said Eldad Koblenz, CEO of Israel's public broadcaster Khan.

Amazon Tribe Wins Lawsuit To Save Half A Million Acres Of Rainforest

We all need to do our bit to save the rainforests, as they are super important to all life on the planet. They create so much oxygen to help keep us alive. The trees also use carbon dioxide, thereby reducing global warming. The Amazon Rainforest is the biggest in the world, but destruction happens at a faster rate each year. Luckily, people are starting to take notice and do something about its destruction. The latest people to do so are an Amazon tribe.

The Waorani people are native to Ecuador and have lived there for centuries. In recent years, they have been fighting a legal battle against big oil that nobody thought they could win.

Rick Singer Advised White Parents to Claim Their Kids Were Nonwhite on College Applications

The man behind the scheme to help wealthy students get into elite colleges by cheating on tests and faking athletic credentials also advised some families to falsely claim students were racial minorities, exploiting the push to diversify campuses, according to two people familiar with the situation.

A son of Marjorie Klapper, a parent scheduled to plead guilty Friday for participating in the scheme, was incorrectly listed on his Common Application as being black and Hispanic, the people said. William “Rick” Singer, the college counselor who has agreed to plead guilty in the case and is awaiting sentencing, also arranged for a proctor to cheat on the ACT admissions test for the teen, according to a Federal Bureau of Investigation affidavit filed in the case. …

FACEBOOK ADMITS ISRAELI SOCIAL MANIPULATION COMPANY SPENT $800,000 TO INFLUENCE AFRICAN ELECTIONS

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE
In keeping with their spectacular reputation of violating privacy and rigging elections, Facebook has said that it removed "hundreds of accounts" from Facebook and Instagram that were used to influence elections in Africa, according to CNN. Only it wasn't Russia who was behind this latest intervention, but Israel.
Archimedes Group, an Israeli company, reportedly spent more than $800,000 in advertising (far more than the Kremlin allegedly spent on its "ad campaign" to crush Hillary Clinton and get Trump elected) and ran accounts that had nearly 3 million followers, for the purpose of targeting African elections. The group primarily targeted Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, Angola, Niger and Tunisia.

For perspective, the $800,000 reportedly spent by the group compares to the $100,000 that has been claimed by the U.S. mainstream media to have been spent for ‘Russian bots’ used to allegedly sway the 2016 US presidential election, according to RT.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me completely unsurprised at this revelation.

Most the worlds's precious, and yet-to-be-exploited commodities, can be found in Africa; it is no wonder Israel sought to exploit those elections for economic gain.
