Proposed Federal Agency Would Create Criteria to “Identify” Potentially Violent People

By Michael Maharrey

There is a push on for the creation of another unconstitutional federal agency that would create systems to identify “early signs of changes in people with mental illness that could lead to violent behavior.”

Coupled with “red flag” laws, this sounds like the beginning of a dystopian nightmare...

Tesla Solar Panels Are Catching Fire. Amazon and Walmart Have Both Been Burned. Walmart Is Suing.

By B.N. Frank

Solar panels that catch fire are not desirable or eco-friendly. What’s bizarrely coincidental is that these combustible panels are being made by Elon Musk’s company, which also sells flamethrowers.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Walmart is suing Tesla because of solar panels that caught fire at 7 of its stores.  The lawsuit alleges that poorly trained installers who Tesla hired for Walmart were at fault, not the actual units...

NASA's delayed and over-budget James Webb Space Telescope has finally been built ahead of 2021 launch

Construction of NASA's next flagship telescope, the beleaguered James Webb spacecraft, has finally been completed.

The much-maligned mission was intended to replace the long-serving Hubble telescope but has been plagued with issues and delays.

Named after the second administrator of NASA, the replacement flagship telescope has also run $800 million over its enormous $8 billion budget.

It is designed to study the origins of the universe's first stars and their dim light but torn sunshields and loose bolts have previously been blamed for the setbacks.

Did Defense Secretary James Mattis Commit War Crimes in Iraq?

In the years since, Mattis – called a “warrior monk” by his supporters – repeatedly has protected American service members who killed civilians, using his status as a division commander to wipe away criminal charges against Marines accused of massacring 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha in 2005 and granting clemency to some of those convicted in connection with the 2006 murder of a 52-year-old disabled Iraqi, who was taken outside his home and shot in the face four times.

These actions show a different side of Mattis, now 66, than has been featured in most profiles published since his nomination as President-elect Donald Trump’s defense secretary, which have portrayed him as a strong proponent of the Geneva Conventions and an anti-torture advocate.

Although Mattis argued against the siege of Fallujah beforehand, both international and U.S. law are clear: As the commanding general, he should be held accountable for atrocities committed by Marines under his command.

Mattis swipes at Trump, warns of ‘storm clouds gathering’ amid fractured alliances

This War Criminal should talk! We need a non-intervensionist Foreign Policy and the US Military needs to be reduced to a true defensive force with only about $100 billion a year in spending. Most of the Officer Corps needs to be court martialed and imprisoned for life for their crimes against humanity,The American People and The Constitution of the United States. And they should be forbidden to write books for profit or to serve on the boards of defense contractors or to lobby for same. Disgusting war criminal. Remember Haditha and Falluja!

Former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis took several implicit swipes at President Trump’s leadership in an op-ed published Wednesday, warning about the fallout from fractured alliances and increasing divisiveness under the current administration.

Mattis’ comments were included in a lengthy essay adapted from a forthcoming book and published in The Wall Street Journal.

As the Obamas purchase a lavish, beach-front estate in Martha’s Vineyard many are asking: What happened to their claim that ocean levels are rising?

Barack and Michelle Obama have announced that they recently purchased a massive, 29-acre, beach-front estate in Martha’s Vineyard for a cool $15 million, proving once again that the same libtards who never shut up about “global warming” and “climate change” don’t actually practice, or believe, what they preach. -- Were the Obamas truly concerned about ocean levels rising, as Barack once claimed, then they would have purchased a lavish second (or third?) home somewhere in the mountains. But that’s certainly not what they did, revealing that they don’t actually believe the climate hoax they continue to peddle.

NASA 2005: Keeping New York City "Cool" is the Job of NASA's "Heat Seekers"

The urban heat island occurrence is particularly pronounced during summer heat waves and at night when wind speeds are low and sea breezes are light. During these times, New York City's air temperatures can rise 7.2 degrees F higher than in surrounding areas.

Aug 26 15:15

The Urban Heat Island Effect

The science behind the Urban Heat Island Effect lies in the amount of heat surfaces (such as concrete and asphalt) can not only absorb, but also retain. Since these surfaces absorb a ton of heat from sunlight (typically warming 50 - 90 degrees hotter than the air temperature) then slowly release it, it's no wonder places such New York City and Philadelphia are usually warmer than their respective suburbs!

Another big player in the temperature differences between cities and suburbs comes from the amount of vegetation. Not only do plants and trees shade surfaces, they also perform a process called evapotranspiration (combination of evaporating water from soil and plant leaves) which is a major cooling mechanism. Thus, vegatative surfaces can be 20 - 45 degrees cooler than other exposed surfaces!

I Was a Physician at a Federally Qualified Health Center. Here’s Why I No Longer Believe Government Health Care Can Work

By Rebekah Bernard M.D.

And so, just a few weeks after taking my Family Medicine board exam, I headed off to my new job at a well-established health clinic in rural America, where my education on the role of government in health care began...

I couldn’t leave. You see, I had signed a contract with the government. As a National Health Service Corps scholarship recipient, I had agreed to work at a health shortage site for four years. In exchange, the program paid my medical school tuition. The penalty for breaking the contract was harsh: repay three times the tuition amount immediately or go to jail.

Can the American Economy Be Resurrected?

Can the American Economy Be Resurrected?

Paul Craig Roberts

I was surprised to be given credit by readers for Trump ordering American corporations out of China and to bring the jobs back to the American workers that the corporations had abandoned. American economists, financial media, and Washington policymakers had never paid any attention to my analysis of US economic decline in terms of globalism and the offshoring of US jobs and technology, and I thought readers hadn’t either. Many readers tell me that economics is over their heads. My economic articles are the least read on my website.

I was again surprised when foreign media, including Press TV in far distant Iran, immediately contacted me requesting an interview about my influence on the White House. What does it all mean?

‘Pluto is a planet’: NASA official risks sparking science civil war with controversial declaration

One brave NASA administrator is refusing to bow to the prevailing scientific consensus, and is risking potential ostracization or, worse still, online ridicule, for proudly declaring that “Pluto is a planet.”

Saturday, August 24, 2019 marked 13 years to the day since Pluto was demoted from having the status of a planet to being assigned that of a dwarf planet, by the International Astronomical Union (our solar system’s resident’s association of scientific fuddy-duddies).

But now, in what history may record as either a brave call to arms, beseeching the scientific community to band together against the tyranny of the IAU or, more likely, an off-the-cuff, likely tongue-in-cheek remark, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine had declared his unwavering belief that Pluto is indeed a planet. “I’m sticking by that, it’s the way I learned it and I’m committed to it,” Bridenstine boldly declared.

NEW VIDEO EMERGES OF 6-TON RUSSIAN DRONE THAT CAN STAY ALOFT FOR 24-HOURS

The video starts off with the Altius-U drone taking off at an unknown airport, most likely, somewhere in Russia. Once airborne, the drone practices several flight maneuvers that were recorded by a separate aircraft and cameras mounted on the v-shape tail, wing, and belly of the drone. About halfway through the short video, the drone starts its descent and approach to the airport. Cameras on the drone and land captured the successful landing.

"The flight took place for 32 minutes at an altitude of up to 800 meters in fully automatic mode at one of the test aerodromes," the ministry said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And the US military does not have something competitive, because.....?!?

And we have a sister article, also posted at blacklistednews.com, with the following headline:

RUSSIA’S ROSCOSMOS INVENTS ARMOR TO PROTECT SATELLITES FROM DEBRIS FLYING THROUGH SPACE

And the US military does not have similar technology because.......?!?

Folks, the US military is losing its edge to competing technologies from
Russia and China.

And so why is that?!? It is because, very plainly, those corporations which own the Presidency, believe it is perfectly fine to deliver products which are completely antiquated by the time they are field tested; that massive cost overruns are perfectly fine; and ultimately, that it doesn't matter if the end product is impossible to fix, once delivered; I give you Lockheed Martin's F-35, which is still experiencing massive problems which cannot, in 2019, yet be fixed.

The Pentagon is Battling the clock to fix serious, unreported F-35 problems

Supersonic Speeds could cause big problems for the F-35's stealth coating

The F-35 is still struggling with more than a dozen big problems

Marine's F-35 has afterburner trouble

The Pentagon’s Fighter Jet of the Future Is Causing a Whole Lot of Problems in the Present: But both parties have been reluctant to cut off Lockheed’s "gravy train"

And why?!? Contributors to the 2016 Trump Campaign

Political contributions, both overt and covert, buy contracts; it is as simple as that. And although the $45 thousand dollars and change
contribution from Lockheed Martin may seem paltry, there is a lot of "goes withness" attached to such a donation.

And if you look at Hillary Clinton's donation page, Cintributions to Hillary Clinton's 2016 electionthere is no mention of Lockheed Martin at all.

One of the worst Supreme Court decisions which was ever made was that of Citizens United Vs/ the Federal Election CommissionThe Wickipedia article here goes on to state:

"Commission, 558 U.S. 310 (2010), is a landmark United States Supreme Court case concerning campaign finance. The Court held that the free speech clause of the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting independent expenditures for political communications by corporations, including nonprofit corporations, labor unions, and other associations."

Translation; the government which you thought was YOUR actual government, is now officially an asset of the corporations big enough to buy influence.

There are moments when some Supreme Court decisions appear to be quite rational in their origin; unfortunately, this was not one of those moments.

But getting back to why the US military is so behind the 8 ball, in terms of products which at least meet, if not exceed, Russian and Chinese weaponry; this Supreme Court decision needs to be reversed, and quickly, because it has cause innumerable problems for our military in the field, when "less than" is perfectly normal, and political contributions make it stay that way.

As most of you who frequent this site understand; I am a Christian pacifist activist, and encourage our government to find ways of achieving its geopolitical goals other than war; however, if war happens, our military deserves the best of the best from our weapons manufacturers; and right now, they are not getting it!!!

Similarly, the percentage of a population surviving to age 65 increases with the number of physicians and hospital beds.

Study Says BPA is Causing Severe Hormone Imbalances in 80% of Teens

By John Vibes

According to new research, four out of five teenagers in the UK are having their hormones disrupted by chemicals found in plastics. Experts believe that the chemical responsible for these widespread hormone issues is bisphenol A, which is more commonly known as BPA. This chemical is often used to make plastics, and can be found in products that come into contact with food.

Since this chemical can mimic the sex hormone estrogen, it has been found to lower sperm count in men. The chemical has also been linked to a variety of illnesses including breast and prostate cancer...

After Covering Notre Dame Fire Non-Stop, Media Silent as the Amazon Burns for Weeks

By Matt Agorist

When the famous Notre Dame Cathedral erupted in flames last April, images of the blaze were plastered across television and computer screens alike. For days on end, mainstream media networks around the world devoted round-the-clock coverage to this burning church. While the burning of such a historical place was undoubtedly a tragic incident, the coverage devoted to it versus the coverage — or, rather, lack there of — given to the Amazon rain forest fires is insulting.

After the fires in Paris, donors from all over Europe came together and pledged millions to rebuild it and the work started almost immediately. Consequently, the Amazon has been on fire for three weeks, and there are no calls for unity, no 24-hour media coverage, and no one is pledging anything to help stop it. In fact, if you search Google News for “Amazon,” the first ten stories are about Jeff Bezos. And, if you look for “Amazon Fire” you get ads for the tablet...

American Apocalypse: The Government’s Plot to Destabilize the Nation Is Working

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out … without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” — H. L. Mencken

The U.S. government is working hard to destabilize the nation.

No, this is not another conspiracy theory.

Although it is certainly not far-fetched to suggest that the government might be engaged in nefarious activities that run counter to the best interests of the American people, doing so will likely brand me a domestic terrorist under the FBI’s new classification system.

Observe for yourself what is happening right before our eyes.

Impeachment Time

It is astonishing to observe some Americans twisting themselves into pretzels so they can continue to make excuses to explain the bizarre behavior of President Donald Trump on the world stage. The line most commonly heard is that he has “kept us out of new wars.” The reality is somewhat different. He has kept us in old wars in Afghanistan and Syria that he could have ended while also needlessly ratcheting up tension with countries like Russia, Venezuela, Iran and China that could easily escalate into armed conflict. The situation with Moscow is particularly dangerous as President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned that his country’s defense doctrine includes going nuclear if there is an attack on Russia by a superior force.

Yemen: Coalition Warships Attack Fishing Boats

(Beirut) – Saudi-led coalition naval forces have carried out at least five deadly attacks on Yemeni fishing boats since 2018, Human Rights Watch said today. Coalition warships and helicopters have been involved in attacks that killed at least 47 Yemeni fishermen, including 7 children, and the detention of more than 100 others, some of whom were tortured in custody in Saudi Arabia.

The coalition attacks on fishermen and fishing boats appear to be deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian objects in violation of the laws of war. Coalition officials who ordered or carried out the attacks or tortured detainees are most likely responsible for war crimes.

US Navy ‘ready’ for Venezuela mission, says a top commander

The US Navy is ready to “do what needs to be done” on Venezuela, a top commander said on Monday, as America ramps up pressure on the crisis-wracked country.

US Southern Command chief Admiral Craig Faller made the remarks in Rio de Janeiro as the United States kicked off its annual UNITAS maritime exercise involving nine Latin American countries as well as the UK, Portugal and Japan.

“I won’t speak to details of what we’re planning and what we’re doing, but we remain ready to implement policy decisions and we remain on the balls of our feet,” Faller told reporters.
I don't think so!

Seattle residents blame inefficient elected officials for homeless problem, say they've 'lost faith' in system

The District of Criminals bears most of the responsibility for the destruction of America and its' People.

SEATTLE -- The richest man in America calls Seattle home. So do thousands of others who are forced onto the streets because they are too poor, too addicted or too detached from reality. At night, the city's homeless sleep wherever they can -- in tents crammed in parking garages, in parks or under highway overpasses. Some feel victimized by a society that has moved on without them. Others feel preyed upon by politicians eager to push pet projects and scattered initiatives that make themselves look good but do little else. Sick of stepping over used condoms, broken lighters and needles, residents say they are heartbroken to see the city they've loved turn into a dangerous, drug-infested den of filth and human misery.

Roughly Half of Trump Voters Would At Least Partially Blame Him for a Recession

The economics are controlled by the central banksters privately owned federal Reserve, not by Trump or any other politician.
As long as the American people keep voting and voting for democrats and republicans this country is doomed.
We need a repeat of 1776. The chances of that happening with the fat, lazy, ignorant, insouciant, apathetic population we have are zero to nil!
Better get ready for one hell of a Nantucket Sleighride!

President Donald Trump has promised a booming economy as a key part of his 2020 pitch. Voters — including his own supporters — might hold him to that.
