For instance, it’s still illegal recreationally in California, but no one really cares. But there are states that do care about marijuana laws, and you’ll be the one paying for it.

Here are the 10 worst states to get caught with marijuana:

Welcome to It Happened To Us

We are the Nick and Donna Nickerson Family. This is our story of truth being quashed; persecution being maliciously pursued; and perseverance being sustained through family, faith and God's Grace. Our home and entire financial portfolio have been under attack for almost a decade without cause or right. This attack began at our Idaho ranch, then expanded to include our Montana home and our entire financial portfolio. We did nothing wrong to warrant or justify this attack. This is not a lack of money, lost wages, upside down equity, default, or failure to pay issue. This is not an imminent domain situation. This is not the result of an unapproved loan modification. This is mortgage theft, life savings extortion, and a targeted attack on American citizens. This is domestic terrorism. The problem is if it happened to us, it can happen to you, just like it has to millions of others. People often ask why we are still in the battle after all these years?

Good Riddance Evo Morales

So Morales, the communist cocalero, is gone. Before your automatic conditioning makes you yell "the CIA did it!", why not pause for a moment and reflect if the Latin American people are not able to make their own decisions and choose the path of freedom and honesty without the help of the US?

Consider that, first and foremost, Morales is a radical Marxist, a union leader who started his career supported by the Communist Party, who considers capitalism the worst enemy of mankind.

NORAD: Keeping Tabs on Santa Since 1955

A tradition for many families on Christmas Eve is to log into Santa Tracker to see where jolly ol’ Saint Nick has been and where he is going next. Young kids delight in the realism of Santa Tracker. It is a fun way to keep kids occupied on Christmas Eve, build the excitement of the impending holiday, and to give kids a geography lesson when they least suspect it. It may surprise some to know that the normally serious, somber, and humorless United States military is behind the fanciful tracking of the world’s most infamous and stealthy gift giver, but since the height of the Cold War, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, commonly known as NORAD, has been playing along with the Santa myth, to the thrill of kids everywhere.

Noel Ignatiev, scholar who called for abolishing whiteness, dies at 78

Noel Ignatiev, a former steelworker who became a historian known for his work on race and class and his call to abolish “whiteness,” died at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson on Saturday. He was 78. The cause was an intestinal infarction, according to Kingsley Clarke, a longtime friend.

Ignatiev’s best-known book, “How the Irish Became White,” was immediately influential and controversial upon its publication in 1995. It touched off a firestorm of debate at the time at academic conferences and in the pages of newspapers. In time his view that whiteness is a social and political construction — and not a phenomenon with a biological basis — has become mainstream. The resurgence of white identity politics and white nationalism in recent years made Ignatiev’s arguments relevant to a new generation of readers who argued the notion that race is more about power and privilege rather than about ancestry, or even identity.

Baltimore Murder Crisis Could Hit Record, About To Record 300 Homicides For Fifth Straight Year

Update (Nov. 11): The murder crisis in Baltimore City could set a record this year.

The current homicide count is 296 as of Sunday afternoon, following a fatal shooting Saturday morning.

In the next week, the murder count could breach 300 for the fifth year in a row.

With 57 days left in the year, the city could record the most murders ever, would need to break 344 homicides, a record that was set in 2015.

Councilman Leon Pickett, who represents Baltimore's seventh district, told CBS 13 Baltimore that the murder crisis is "unacceptable."

"Let's be clear that one murder in our city is too much," Pickett said. "The fact that we're yet again approaching almost 300 murders is unacceptable. Everybody needs to rise up and express the outrage that should be with city approaching that.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Councilman Pickett, I hear you.

But when an area is plagued by intense poverty and unemployment (spurred by an educational system which passes kids when they are illiterate, innumerate, and unable to think critically, and are not learning job skills relevant for the 21st century), this is possibly why, instead of handling conflict resolution intelligently, people are blowing each other to kingdom come.

But there is another factor at work here.

Young people see how much their Federal government lies to them, and murders to expropriate resources; and seems to "get away with it", why should they not feel that they can do this as well, with no repercussions for their actions?!?

The US government needs very strongly to take a look at its ethics, in signing off on these seemingly endless wars for resources, and consider just where their collective bad examples may well be leading our youth.

Are You Ready For A Catastrophically Cold Winter? Here's What The Mainstream Media Won't Tell You...

Authored by Michael Snyder via,

Experts are warning us that this will be a “freezing, frigid, and frosty” winter, and even though the official beginning of winter is still over a month away, it already feels like that in much of the country right now.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Global Proxy War Escalates: "Destabilizing Operation" Sends Bolivia Into Political Chaos

Authored by Michael Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

Two days before Bolivian president Evo Morales was pushed out by the country’s military, Mark Weisbot of the Center for Economic and Policy Research penned a warning about what was happening, and what might unfold, in a Nation article titled, The Trump Administration Is Undercutting Democracy in Bolivia.

He noted:

Multilateral organizations like the Organization of American States (OAS) have a certain perceived impartiality because they are, in theory, controlled by a diverse group of nations. But sometimes a great power can wield a disproportionate influence. It could theoretically be a coincidence that both the Trump administration and the OAS have tried—without offering any evidence—to discredit Bolivia’s national election in the past couple of weeks. But it’s more likely that this dangerous, ugly, and destabilizing operation is being pushed by Washington.

Mass Chemical Attack On School In China Leaves 54 Injured, Mostly Children

IsraeGaza StripIsraeli airstrike kills Islamic Jihad commander in Gaza home

A pair of Israeli airstrikes targeted senior Islamic Jihad commanders in Gaza and Syria early Tuesday, escalating Israel’s confrontation with Iran across the region and threatening to unleash another devastating round of cross-border violence with Palestinian militants.

In eastern Gaza, the Israeli strike killed Bahaa Abu el-Atta and his wife, setting off a furious barrage of Gaza-fired rockets that reached as far as the Tel Aviv heartland as Islamic Jihad vowed further revenge. The military said Abu el-Atta was the mastermind of recent attacks against Israel and the militant group’s top commander in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Syrian officials said an Israeli airstrike in the capital, Damascus, targeted another Islamic Jihad commander, Akram al-Ajouri, who was not harmed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel has become a regional master at provocation, assassinations, and is obviously readying for a complete, utter, and total war against Gaza.

I would like to strongly, but politely, caution Tel Aviv to be very, very careful about what it wishes for, as the outcome to such a conflict.

Forget reform: Saudi Arabia will now punish feminist women with 'flogging and prison sentences'

Saudi citizens found guilty of engaging in homosexuality and feminism could see themselves lashed or imprisoned in the ultraconservative kingdom, lawyers suggested.

The punitive measures could range from fines, to public lashing or even imprisonment, lawyer Nawaf al-Nabati said, according to al-Watan.

The remarks came just hours after Saudi Arabia listed feminism and homosexuality as extremist elements, on Friday, despite the kingdom’s ongoing drive to reform and relax its ultraconservative laws.
Saudi Arabia’s counter-extremism department announced the move on Twitter, where it warned its citizens and nationals to remain cautious against such groups.

"Extremism in all its forms is a societal scourge. It is important to remain cautious,” the statement said, before warning against hardliners who break away from religion to affirm their views.
