Transgender woman who wore T-shirt proclaiming that she's still biologically a man is accused of 'hate speech' and faces being thrown off LGBT committee at TUC

A transgender woman is facing disciplinary action for wearing a t-shirt proclaiming that she is biologically a man.

Debbie Hayton, 51, a physics teacher in the Midlands, changed her gender from male to female in 2012.

She is now potentially facing expulsion from the LGBT+ committee of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) after wearing a t-shirt saying 'Trans women are men. Get over it.'

Ms Hayton wore the t-shirt at an event in July, organised by campaign group Fair Play for Women, as reported by The Sunday Times.

Saudi Arabia sentences five people to death over Khashoggi killing - but Crown Prince Salman's top aide is NOT charged

The five men 'directly took part in the killing' at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, the kingdom's public prosecutor said.

A further three people were jailed, but former royal adviser Saud al-Qahtani - a close aide of crown prince Mohammed bin Salman - was not charged.

The trials were held in near-secrecy and today's sentences sparked immediate claims of a cover-up to protect the prince, who denies involvement in the killing.

Zuesse: Proof That America's "Deep State" Exists And Controls The Government

(5:50-) It’s a Brennan operation. It was an American disinformation, and the fucking President, at one point when they even started telling the press — they were back[ground]-briefing the press, the head of the NSA was going and telling the press, the fucking cocksucker Rogers, telling the press that we [they] even know who in the Russian military intelligence service leaked it. All bullshit.

In other words, besides the information from Bill Binney, who was an NSA whistleblower who took early retirement so he wouldn’t have to continue doing what people such as John Brennan demanded, Seymour Hersh there provided yet additional confirmation to this account from the also-early-retired whistleblowing UK Ambassador Craig Murray — a close friend of Assange — who claimed that he had “met” the person in DC who supplied the thumb drive (USB stick), which then was delivered (he didn’t say how) to Assange:

This Texan Fighting with the Ukraine Rebels Thinks the West Will Force a Big Confrontation in April

First, I do not think Putin and Russia will abandon the Republics. It would be cowardly, unprincipled and futile to do so, and these are adjectives that simply do not apply to Putin or to Russia.

And Putin has also said, and I quote, "I learned on the streets of Leningrad as a kid, if a fight is inevitable, it is better to hit first." I am quite certain that Vladimir Putin will stand by his words, by his promises and his principles, and the Russian People will back him 100%.

Putin has promised that if Russia is attacked, he will destroy the places the attacks come from, and also the places where the orders for the attacks come from. And Vladimir Putin don't lie.

If you allow your corrupt and bloodthirsty rulers to attack us, understand that we will hit back, hard, where you live, and understand that you will have it coming.

Otherwise, your masters will proceed with this diabolical scheme and the whole world may well come crashing down around your heads.

Sweden: The Wages Of Self-Loathing Is Civil War

Authored by David Archibald via The American Thinker,

The Danes have put extra resources into controlling the country’s links to Sweden because of bombs going off in Denmark due to people coming from Sweden. The people from Sweden are Islamist criminals. The Swedish government reacted to the Danish move by calling the Danes Nazis. Swedish society has changed for the worse, and the Swedish people are aware of what they have lost.

All this is known, but what is interesting is that a former head of the Swedish truck-maker Scania, a Mr. Leif Ostling, has said Sweden is headed for civil war because of the problem of its violent migrants who have no inclination to integrate into Swedish society. As a successful businessman, his views can’t be dismissed as being from some sort of antisocial loon living in his mother’s basement.

All in all, there are plenty of guns to go round to have a civil war with. This won’t be a brutish affair conducted with knives and sticks.

And while one FBI employee has received a criminal referral for doctoring evidence in the scheme to defraud the court, key players with oversight responsibilities - under penalty of perjury - have been given a pass.

Saudi Arabia Sentences Five To Death For Khashoggi Murder As MbS Aides Walk

The criminal trials of the 11 scapegoats men formally accused of participating in the killing and dismemberment of Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi are now over, and the end result was exactly what most expected. That is, several royal aides implicated in the killing were let go without punishment, while five others who are probably only tangentially related to the case (if at all) have been sentenced to death.

As a reminder, in Saudi Arabia, a death sentence means one thing: A very public beheading.

Most of those arrested in relation to Khashoggi's murder inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul will eventually go free, but most members of the global community expected that, as the process was seen as tainted from the beginning, and those men truly responsible for masterminding Khashoggi's murder would eventually walk free.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump seems to have a very great affinity for men who can order assassinations, and never seem to get tarred by their happening; after all, his two BFFs in the Middle East, are the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Bin Salman; and the Butcher of Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Tesla Picks Pockets Of Chinese Banks As It Borrows Another $1.4 Billion

Tesla, which supposedly has lots of cash in the bank and tons of working capital (just ask David Einhorn), is tapping a group of Chinese banks for a relatively small $1.4 billion USD, five year loan, for the company's Shanghai plant. Part of the loan will be used to roll over an existing loan, according to Reuters.

Among the banks participating in the loan are China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

Earlier this year the banks had offered Tesla an even smaller 12 month facility of 3.5 billion yuan (about $475 million USD) that comes due in March of 2020. The new loan will help Tesla roll over the previous debt and the rest will be used on Tesla's "China operations".

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a "gateway project" for the Chinese government, in hopes of encouraging other companies to manufacture their products in China; the Presidents of the banks which are collaborating in issuing this loan may be experiencing a bit of "Agita" right now, but will have to hold their noses until the loan is (hopefully) repaid in full.

Muilenburg Fired As Boeing CEO

In what was not entirely surprising, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg has "resigned" and will be replaced by current Chairman David Calhoun.

CNBC's Phil LeBeau has a slightly different take:

"This was the decision of the board. .. He was fired."

The Board of Directors decided that a change in leadership was necessary to restore confidence in the Company moving forward as it works to repair relationships with regulators, customers, and all other stakeholders.

Under the Company's new leadership, Boeing will operate with a renewed commitment to full transparency, including effective and proactive communication with the FAA, other global regulators and its customers.

"On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I am pleased that Dave has agreed to lead Boeing at this critical juncture," Mr. Kellner said. He added,

NY gov blocks some federal judges from officiating at weddings — because they might be Trump nominees

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has vetoed a non-controversial bipartisan bill that would have allowed all federal judges to officiate weddings in the state because some might have been nominated to the bench by President Donald Trump.

"I cannot in good conscience support legislation that would authorize such actions by federal judges who are appointed by this federal administration," Cuomo's veto message stated, the New York Post reported.

"President Trump does not embody who we are as New Yorkers," the Democratic governor added on Friday. "The cornerstones that built our great state are diversity, tolerance, and inclusion. Based on these reasons, I must veto this bill."

Leaked Information on Trump’s No-Peace/Deal of the Century

On Monday, Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen television reported what it called information on what’s in Trump’s so-called deal of the century.

From what’s reported, it establishes the illusion of a “New Palestine” state in parts of the West Bank and Gaza, short of the real thing Israel and the US reject, both areas connected by an elevated highway.

It excludes 70% or more of West Bank land controlled by Israel, including the Jordan Valley, closed military zones, exclusive Jewish commercial areas, tourist sites, no-go areas, and illegal settlements on stolen Palestinian land, Jerusalem to remain undivided, the city “shared between Israel and New Palestine.”
Haaretz quoted an unnamed congressional source, saying “(o)ne argument against (the budget request is that) no one thinks (Trump’s) peace plan is coming out any time soon, so why devote money to it,” adding:

Webmaster's Commentary:

What this does, is simply to solidify and legitimize Israel's choke hold over the Palestinian people, which is a way to cause the crisis to worsen, exponentially, if the elements of the plan are put in place without Palestinian approval, which will not be forthcoming.

America the Shrunken”

There are still some rich cities in America, and even some glitzy ones, but when we pull back the curtains and survey the entire stage, today we see a preponderance of decay. Detroit, Chicago, many California cities, much of Florida, and so many more with not only neighborhoods but entire counties and larger areas rotting from the inside. The great corporations are gone, the jobs are gone, the wealth is gone; only decaying skeletons remain to remind us of what once was. So much of America today is just junkyards, abandoned homes, lifeless slums, empty lots, rusting carcasses of factories, and homes full of despair.

Webmaster's Commentary:

We live in a lovely, small community, where people know their neighbors, and smile, and say hello to them frequently.

But in our nearest "larger neighbor to the West", one sees boarded up businesses; young people, and sometimes kids, reaching out for some kind of hand out, just to keep body and soul together.

This is absolutely NOT the America I grew up to expect, at this point in the 21st century; At 70, I am very blessed to be working. But that so many people are having tough times all around us, is very disconcerting.

President Trump cannot be talking about a "great economy", when the real numbers say something else entirely different; this country is very close to losing what used to be the middle class, as the decently paying jobs are outsourced to Asia, or wherever else the labour is the cheapest.

People who used to be able to afford house payments, because of those former middle class jobs no longer can; they have been shoved into bone/brain crunching jobs at places where cheap labor is the norm.

And unless there is some remedy to these conditions, and soon, in this country, we may well see collective unhappiness morph into seething anger.

Where that anger will take this society, I cannot tell; but it is very close to happening soon.

In New Round of Tests, Monsanto’s Weedkiller Still Contaminates Foods Marketed to Children

Major food companies like General Mills continue to sell popular children’s breakfast cereals and other foods contaminated with troubling levels of glyphosate, the cancer-causing ingredient in the herbicide Roundup.

The weedkiller, produced by Bayer-Monsanto, was detected in all 21 oat-based cereal and snack products sampled in a new round of testing commissioned by the Environmental Working Group. All but four products contained levels of glyphosate higher than what EWG scientists consider protective for children’s health with a sufficient margin of safety.

The new tests confirm and amplify EWG’s findings from tests in July and October of last year, with levels of glyphosate consistently above EWG’s children’s health benchmark. The two highest levels of glyphosate were found in Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch, with 833 parts per billion, or ppb, and Cheerios, with 729 ppb. The EWG children’s health benchmark is 160 ppb.

.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please share this with every concerned person with a kid around, and let the company (and its CEO, Jeff Harmening) know and understand that you will not put up with its products potentially poisoning their kids.

Among the priorities announced by the government was planned legislation aimed at curbing the activities of the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, a grassroots pro-Palestine campaign that has taken university campuses and trade unions by storm across the UK and beyond.

"We will stop public institutions from imposing their own approach or views about international relations, through preventing boycotts, divestment or sanctions campaigns against foreign countries and those who trade with them," a government briefing on the Queen's Speech said on Thursday.

"The UK Government is responsible for foreign relations and determining the best way to interact with its international neighbours... Public institutions should not be pursuing their own foreign policy agenda with public money."

Webmaster's Commentary:

THIS, from the country which gave the world the Magna Carta?!?

I'm gobsmacked, at the audacity of such potential legislation, where freedom of speech is curtailed when you are criticising the actions of a country, not a faith tradition per se.

To conflate the two, that the Jewish religion is the same as the Israeli government, is walking down a terribly dangerous road, in terms of where such legislation may lead; think, "Thought Police", from the Tom Cruz blockbuster, "Minority Report"; it is sometimes terrifying to see how quickly science fiction melds its way into science fact.

I would like to suggest that criticising the government of Israel, when it does something morally wrong, (particularly against Palestinians) is something which should be done, in the most logical, fact-based way possible; but to say that "boycotts have legitimized antisemitism" is an outright lie.

BDS only hurts wallets, and is a completely peaceful way of focusing attention on negative actions by the Israeli government and its agencies.

Pakistani academic Junaid Hafeez sentenced to death for blasphemy

Islamabad, Pakistan - A court in Pakistan has convicted a university lecturer of blasphemy and sentenced him to death in a case rights groups have long cited as emblematic of fair trial concerns in such prosecutions in the country.

Junaid Hafeez, a lecturer at the Bahauddin Zakariya University in the central Pakistani city of Multan, was accused of having insulted Islam's Prophet Muhammad and its holy book, the Quran, verbally and on Facebook in 2013.

Webmaster's Commentary:

We are very fortunate in this country to be able to practice a religion (or not) as we see fit; with other places on the planet, which only seem to embrace the 21st century through their acquisition of state of the art weaponry, this is a very different issue indeed.

'Tolerant' UAE revokes citizenship of dissidents' families: HRW

Human Rights Watch on Sunday accused the United Arab Emirates of taking punitive measures against relatives of dissidents, including revoking their citizenships and banning them from travel.

The government of the oil-rich Gulf state has revoked the citizenship of 19 relatives of two dissidents and at least 30 relatives of six dissidents are barred from leaving the country, the rights group said in a report.

"UAE authorities, in their determination to crush dissent, have allowed their state security apparatus to use its near-unchecked power to continually punish the families of activists, both detained and living abroad," said Michael Page, deputy Middle East and North Africa director at HRW.

"The authorities should cease these vindictive attacks, which amount to collective punishment," he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It was rather ironic that when one googles Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, one immediately gets a FLOOD of ads, touting it as a beautiful, incredible, place to vacation; unfortunately, with these moves against people who may think differently than their leadership, Abu Dhabi is a place which I will shun the rest of my life, as through it were Kryptonite, putting it right up there with Riyad, Saudi Arabia, as places I would not ever, ever visit this lifetime.

India protests rage on as death toll rises to 24

Thousands of people joined fresh rallies against a contentious citizenship law in India on Saturday, with 24 killed so far in nearly two weeks of widespread unrest.

The death toll jumped one day after demonstrations turned violent on Friday in India's most populous state, Uttar Pradesh, where at least 15 people were killed including an eight-year-old boy who was trampled to death.

One protester died Saturday after clashes in Rampur, also in Uttar Pradesh, as police armed with batons used tear gas against a stone-pelting crowd, police told AFP.

Anger has been growing over the law, approved by parliament on December 11, which gives religious minority members from three neighbouring countries an easier path to citizenship -- but not if they are Muslim.

Critics say the law discriminates against Muslims and is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu-nationalist agenda, a claim his political party denies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That Indian legislators actually passed this bill, is a demonstration of absolute, collective tone-deafness, which boggles the mind.

As Seoul loses faith in Trump’s approach on North Korea, China is poised to step in

As 2019 draws to a close, unease is growing in South Korea over US methods in dealing with North Korea, which has threatened a possible missile launch or nuclear test referred to by officials as a “Christmas surprise”.

Scepticism has deepened over Washington’s ultimate aims for the Korean peninsula, given the pressure on Seoul to buy more US arms and increase its share of costs to keep 28,500 American troops stationed in South Korea.

The South is already Washington’s fourth-biggest weapons market, spending US$6.23 billion between 2009 and 2018, and recently deployed a fleet of US F-35A stealth fighter jets, a move condemned by Pyongyang as a breach of last year’s inter-Korean summit agreement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump's US foreign policy trajectory, may well have the world deeply concerned about the possibility of more missile, and nuclear missile manufacturing by North Korea.

The four party talks might be the only answer to a potential expansion of North Korea's offensive missile capabilities; it would be a wonderful moment, if President Xi can make this happen, and President Trump actually becomes a part of this process, although it will be a "hard sell" to his base, in this coming election year.

Sanctioned Muslim nations weigh trading with gold to bypass restrictions

Malaysian leader’s proposal at Islamic nations’ summit receives warm reception from Iran, Turkey and Qatar, who are currently facing a host of economic embargoes.

Iran, Turkey, Qatar and Malaysia are weighing trading among themselves in gold and other currencies in an effort to combat current and future sanctions imposed against them, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said on Saturday.

“I have suggested that we re-visit the idea of trading using the gold dinar and barter trade among us,” the Reuters news agency quoted Mohamad as saying at the conclusion of a summit in Malaysia for Islamic states. “We are seriously looking into this and we hope that we will be able to find a mechanism to put it into effect.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a reasonable response to US sanctions and embargoes.

What President Trump has done, with these issuances of trade restrictions, has been to:

1. Cause nations around the world to dump the dollar.
2. Move nations toward gold backed currencies
3. Pull nations away from the US orbit, and put them into the orbit of Russia and/or China. economically and and defensively.

Bravo, Mr. President, well done! - If in fact these reactions to your sanctions and embargoes were supposed to accomplish these outcomes.

IF not, Mr. President, you have managed to tick off some formerly friendly nations, and have risked putting our country into the jeopardy of more endless wars, which started out as trading disputes.

Russia's Gazprom to pay $2.9 billion in new Ukraine gas deal

The Russian energy giant has agreed to settle its long running dispute with Ukraine over transit fees. A new five-year Moscow-Kyiv gas deal will also reduce European concerns over the loss of access to Russian fuel.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to continue to send gasoline through Ukraine to Europe for a further five years.

The new deal, outlined by Moscow and Kyiv on Saturday, eases concerns over whether Europe could lose access to a large portion of Russian gas, which the region depends on to fuel industry and heating.

Russia sends roughly 40% of its gas deliveries destined for Europe through Ukraine.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears now, that both countries want responsible leadership to bury old hatchets, and go about taking care of their citizens; this is a very positive turn of events.

Tareq Hajjaj and Pam Bailey'Blinding the truth': Israeli snipers target Gaza protesters in the eyes

To date, Gaza's Ministry of Health reports that 50 protesters have been shot in the eye by Israeli soldiers since the demonstrations began last March leaving them permanently blind.

Media coverage and social media posts went wild when Palestinian photojournalist Muath Amarneh was blinded in his left eye after he was hit by a rubber bullet while covering a protest in the West Bank.

However, Amarneh was far from unique; Israeli snipers targeting participants in Gaza's weekly Great Return March protests have aimed for the legs – and eyes. To date, Gaza's Ministry of Health reports that 50 protesters have been shot in the eye since the demonstrations began March 30, 2018 – leaving them permanently blind.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IT has become painfully apparent, that President Trump just goes absolutely bat-excrement crazy for Middle Eastern rulers who can (literally) get away with ordering murders and mutilations, and there is utterly no penalty for them to bear by so doing.

And who are his BFFs in the Middle East?!?

Bibi Netanyahu and the Saudi Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, of course!!

Diminished Combustion

It didn’t work last time – but this time is different.

Last time, the method deployed to get rid of cars – or at least, cars for us – was emissions standards. The plan was to lay down requirements so severe that cars couldn’t be made to comply with them.
