Man arrested for sending copies of "7/7 Ripple Effect" (about the London Bombings) to judge and jury members

Here is a link to the video in question: "7/7 Ripple Effect." (It was posted at WRH just a few days ago)

From Belfast Telegraph, 10th February 2009:

Tuesday, 10 February 2009

A 60-year-old man wanted in the UK on a charge of perverting the course of justice during the trial of a number of men in connection with the London bomb attacks has appeared in the High Court this afternoon.

Anthony John Hill, orginially from Sheffield, was arrested on Carrig Street in Kells this morning on foot of a warrant issued by the authorities in Britain.

It is alleged he sent DVDs entitled "7/7 Ripple Effect" to the jury, the judge and members of the victims' families.

The DVDs claimed the attack was an inside job and that the accused men were innocent.

By January 2008, deminers had cleared 137,000 bomblets, meaning only around 18,000 bomblets were cleared in the past year.

The Day After: Stocks Struggle to Overcome Geithner's Stumble, RIM's Warning

Webmaster's Commentary:

Stock's aren't supposed to "overcome."

Stocks are supposed to be shares in a company, paying dividends based on that company's earnings. The price of the stock is ideally supposed to be directly proportional to the earnings of the company, usually 13 to 16 years worth of the dividends payouts.

But when speculation takes over the market, as it has done over the last 12 years, the dividends cease being a factor, and the stock prices are driven by supply and demand, and more often the hopes and fears of the speculators who purchase stocks solely to sell them a short time down the road at a profit.

And while most of us have made it this far without the need of protective shoulder pads or helmets, the risk of cell phone injury still exists. The following is a list of cell phone injuries, ordered in their likeliness to occur, from most to least.

Letters: Anglo-American model for financial disaster

The present decade of "financial exuberance" dates from 1999 when a Republican Congress pushed through, and a Democrat President, Bill Clinton, signed, a definitive repeal of the Glass-Stegall Act of 1933, which had separated commercial banking from investment banking.

Ed Balls is more honest than he thinks. We are in the mess that we're in because our government decided to hitch the British workhorse on to the American bandwagon. If President Sarkozy of France last week was rather rude to us, he was merely repaying Gordon Brown for his lecturing European leaders, in sunnier economic times, for not embracing the Anglo-American model of deregulated finances.

China Needs U.S. Guarantees for Treasury Bond Holdings

China should seek guarantees that its
$682 billion holdings of U.S. government debt won’t be eroded by
“reckless policies,” said Yu Yongding, a former adviser to the
central bank.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Printing up trillions of dollars from the Federal Reserve lowers the value of all dollars everywhere, including those held by China.

So what China is asking is how the US Government plans to print up trillions of dollars without having the value of the dollars owed to China decline.

And the only answer is to treat all that new money as a loan, to be eventually repaid by the US taxpayers.

You.

To date, all of the bailouts and emergency loans (which are not being repaid so far) have created $30,000 of tax-debt for every living human in the United States. It is actually worse than that since many Americans, the very young and very old, the disabled, the illegals, do not pay taxes. So the real burden of all this new debt works out to about $50,000 per taxpayer, or $100,000 per married working couple, all created in the last 6 months.

Long before this crisis had hit, the US Government was already so deep in debt that all the income tax paid by every American did not even keep up with the interest. Nothing was being paid on the principle and as a result, since the Vietnam war Americans have been taxed for the interest four times the entire amount of the debt itself ... without seeing the debt reduced.

We are slaves to this debt that was created for us without our permission by politicians whose campaigns are funded by the same bankers our tax checks go to. We have been sold into perpetual bondage by the politicians.

And if by some miracle we work hard and sacrifice to pay off this debt and can persuade the government not to simply add more debt on top (as they are doing even as I type these words) and save the government from financial collapse, what will we have won for all our work and sacrifice? We will still live under a government that lies to us, takes our money, reads our emails, listens to our phone calls, and treats us as if we are slaves that cannot be trusted because we will escape to freedom at the first opportunity.

The Multiple Ways Monsanto is Putting Normal Seeds Out of Reach

People say if farmers don’t want problems from Monsanto, just don’t buy their GMO seeds.

Not so simple. Where are farmers supposed to get normal seed these days? How are they supposed to avoid contamination of their fields from GM-crops? How are they supposed to stop Monsanto detectives from trespassing or Monsanto from using helicopters to fly over spying on them?

Monsanto contaminates the fields, trespasses onto the land taking samples and if they find any GMO plants growing there (or say they have), they then sue, saying they own the crop. It’s a way to make money since farmers can’t fight back and court and they settle because they have no choice.

Wearing the Beard for Petraeus

Jeff Huber | February 10, 2009

The most telling part of Ricks’s version of the surge genesis is what it omits. Ricks makes no mention of the American Enterprise Institute, or of Fred Kagan, or of the neoconservative movement’s role in selling the surge to the public, an effort spearheaded by Bill Kristol of The Weekly Standard, Fox News, the New York Times, AEI and the Project for the New American Century.

On Sunday’s Meet the Press and in his Monday Post article, Ricks describes with often horrifying candor how Petraeus set out to pave the way for a “long war” that would last well beyond the Bush presidency. Petraeus needed time “not to bring the war to a close, but simply to show enough genuine progress that the American people would be willing to stick with it even longer.” That the surge has, as Ricks acknowledges, “failed politically,” is of little consequence.

Bailout Plan: $2.5 Trillion and a Strong U.S. Hand

Ed Andrews-Steve Labaton The New York Times Tue-Feb 10, 2009

WASHINGTON — The White House plan to rescue the nation’s financial system, announced on Tuesday by Timothy F. Geithner, the Treasury secretary, is far bigger than anyone predicted and envisions a far greater government role in markets and banks than at any time since the 1930s.

Administration officials committed to flood the financial system with as much as $2.5 trillion — $350 billion of that coming from the bailout fund and the rest from private investors and the Federal Reserve, making use of its ability to print money.

Will Obama Break the Law for Israel's Sake?

by Grant F. Smith

Since entering office, President Barack Obama has promised sweeping changes in three aspects of governance: transparency, law enforcement, and stewardship of American tax dollars. For a public weary of law enforcement forever prosecuting street but never elite crime, Obama's many statements about holding all individuals accountable under the law have been encouraging. He also called for government-agency compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in a White House mandate for transparency. Obama swore any bailouts of financial institutions and industries will hereafter avoid secretly funneling taxpayer funds into bloated Wall Street bonuses, executive junkets, and private jets.

But does Obama intend to follow these rules himself? Probably not. Obama's entire facade momentarily crumbled under a single withering question – "Do you know of any country in the Middle East that has nuclear weapons?" – launched by veteran reporter Helen Thomas during the president's first evening press conference on Feb. 9, 2008.

Video - War on Drugs and the Prison Industrial Complex

This 1999 documentary from Dutch TV explains how the "War on Drugs" has led to a loss of civil liberties while at the same time it has become a cash generator for police departments (through asset seizure) and a source of prisoners needed by the growing, privatized "Prison Industrial Complex". However, it has not had much of an effect at all as far as its supposed purpose of eliminating or, at least significantly reducing, the illegal drug trade.

The documentary is in English although there are a few introductory comments in Dutch. (1hr 32min)

The Implications of Recognizing Israel's "Right to Exist"

But, if acknowledging Israel’s ‘right to exist’ means accepting that anyone who is Jewish can automatically become a citizen of Israel and then live on the very land, and in some cases, in the very home, of a Palestinian family who has lived there for generations; if it means relinquishing the right to say “this was my land and my home before you took it away from me”; if it means forsaking the right to return to Palestine with deed and keys in hand, demanding to know what entitled the families from England, Russia, Morocco or Ethiopia to live on the property of those 700,000 who were forcibly expelled in 1948; if it means denying the very existence of Palestine and Palestinians—as Golda Meir tried to do—by erasing their history, culture, and collective memory … then no.

Still Standing: The Building That Proves WTC 7 Was Imploded

New videos of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel fire in Beijing highlight the vivid contrast between the damage it suffered as it was completely consumed by roaring flames, yet remained standing, and the comparative sporadic fires across just 8 floors that led to the complete free fall collapse of WTC 7.

9/11 truth debunkers are in a bind as to how to respond to the Beijing skyscraper fire because of the building’s similarity in size to Building 7 and the gargantuan fire damage it suffered in comparison with the limited “office fires” witnessed in WTC 7. FAA to loosen fuel-tank safety rules, benefiting Boeing's 787

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has quietly decided to loosen stringent fuel-tank safety regulations written after the 1996 fuel-tank explosion that destroyed flight TWA 800 off the coast of New York state.

The FAA proposes to relax the safeguards for preventing sparks inside the fuel tank during a lightning strike, standards the agency now calls "impractical" and Boeing says its soon-to-fly 787 Dreamliner cannot meet.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The fuel-tank rules were part of the public relations aspect of the cover-up. They were cosmetic right form the start.

TWA 800 was shot down by a US Navy missile during a botched test of the Aegis-CEC system conducted off of Long Island during that summer. Missiles had been seen in flight both before and after the tragedy.

But the US Government covered it up (as they have covered up so much through the years) and blamed an exploding fuel tank. So, the FAA, to conform to the deception, had to impose new rules on fuel tanks, rules which were pointless, and as this article confirms, to be quietly disposed of once they were no longer needed to support the official story.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Except that the building did not burn "down." It is still standing, although burned right to the steel frame. Take a look at that picture of the building the next morning. It is still standing!

Once again we are left with the stark contradiction between WTC-7's sudden collapse into its own footprint on 9-11, even though it had not been struck by an airplane, was built far more fire and bomb proof than a normal building owing to the Federal offices that rented space in it, and showed far less fire than this hotel.

See BBC announced WTC-7 collapse before it actually happened.

Stimulus Plan Caters to the Privileged Public Sector

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports state and local government workers get paid 33% more than their private sector counterparts. If you add in the pensions and other benefits, the difference is over 40%. In New York alone, public-sector wages and benefits since 2000 have grown twice as fast as those of the average private-sector worker.

Egregious stories of overpaid public workers are legion. In suburban Chicago, for example, some school administrators are making over $400,000 with benefits and incentives. Recent reports out of Boston suggest hundreds of firefighters and police officers make well in excess of $100,000 a year. And of course, there are the California prison guards who can make upwards of $300,000 a year with overtime.

The Growing Army of Angry Men Whose Lives Have Been Destroyed by the Federal Government

One of the hardest things to deal with in the current economic depression is the disgusting hypocrisy of the U.S. congress, the new president, and the members of the Federal Reserve System. It is one thing to be told, as we all are, that we must hand over fat wads of our hard-earned money to these warmongering and thieving snakes or face jail terms, but one feels a whole new level of revulsion when these people make statements to the effect that they, and they alone, are in a position to "save the economy" by "creating jobs." These statements are made by people who have done virtually everything in their power to destroy the American economy over the last few decades, but who have now proclaimed themselves to be our saviors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That is the scam of government. They CREATE the "problem" then sell us the solution to it. Whether it was the "Red Menace", or the "War On Drugs" or the "Rape Crisis" or "Saddam's Nooks", or "The War On Terror", or "Human Caused Global Warming", it is the same swindle over and over again; create the illusion of a problem, then offer to sell us the solution in exchange for higher taxes and blind support for the candidate/agenda.

Deadly cold snap has led to month's delay in funerals

Grieving families are being forced to wait more than a month to bury their dead as Britain struggles to cope with the worst winter in 13 years.

Undertakers say the number of unburied bodies has risen sharply since the start of the cold snap - and is expected to grow.

The sub-zero conditions and snowstorms have triggered a surge in deaths and left the ground too frozen to dig up across much of the UK.

9/11 victim's wife asks uncomfortable questions

Is it luck that aberrant stock trades were not monitored?

Is it luck when 15 visas are awarded based on incomplete forms?

Is it luck when Airline Security screenings allow hijackers to board planes with box cutters and pepper spray?

Is it luck when Emergency FAA and NORAD protocols are not followed?

Is it luck when a national emergency is not reported to top government officials on a timely basis?

To me luck is something that happens once.

When you have this repeated pattern of broken protocols, broken laws, broken communication, one cannot still call it luck.

With the Israeli elections being largely campaigned on support for the militant settler movement Jewish extremists continue to act with impunity.

Key to success in the big bank bailout? Let 'em fail

In other words, the same people who blew through their shareholders' capital are now handling the government's capital. That, Mr. Seidman said, is a pretty bad way to save the financial system. “We've already seen some very poor managements and some very poor banking. What they're doing now is ensuring that the bad bankers stay in business. So I don't like the idea. I think it's bad for the industry. The worst thing to do is to compete against people who don't know what they're doing.”

New Bailout May Top $1.5 Trillion

In announcing the plan, Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner will not ask Congress for more funds than the roughly $350 billion that remain in the Treasury Department's original rescue package for the financial system, though congressional sources said such a request could come later if the new programs are unsuccessful. The rest of the money would come from other government agencies, such as the Federal Reserve, as well as private-sector contributions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The federal Reserve is NOT a government agency. It is a private company, no more "Federal" than "Federal Express."

Geithner Bank Bailout Plan: Fiasco

Let's start with the basics. The US banking system is insolvent. Got that? Insolvent. That does not mean every bank in the US is toast, in fact quite a few are probably just fine, and another large group is no doubt hurting and undercapitalized, but a couple of years of not shooting themselves in the foot again would enable therm (via earnings) to rebuild their equity bases sufficiently to proceed more or less as normal.

Debunkers Claim WTC 7 “Hit By A 757?

Of course, as anyone with an iota of knowledge understands, WTC 7 was not hit by a plane on 9/11.

After a respondent named BIll raises the issue of WTC 7, ‘JackieO’ responds, “Bill, your a stupid idiot leftwing scumbag. WTC7 was hit by a 757 you inbred idiot!”

Later in the thread, another respondent, ‘JefoRW’ states, “Bill, you my friend, and retarded. wtc7 was struck by a plane you fool. Go back to your cave.”

And so it appears as though many proponents of the official 9/11 story and debunkers of 9/11 truth actually believe that WTC 7 was hit by a plane, and those that point out that it wasn’t are ‘inbred cave-dwelling retards’.

U.S. judges seek massive California prisoner release

Trend-setting California, the Golden State, has an immense prison system responsible for nearly 170,000 inmates, and their care has become a major political and budget issue as officials weigh multibillion costs of improved facilities against death and illness behind bars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Personally, I think all the people wh9 are in jail for smoking pot should be released. But the problem is, where do they go and what do they do? California doesn't have a labor shortage; they have a job shortage which will get worse when 55,000 inmates are released.

NJ residents to see double-digit hikes in electric rates

But the latest spike in utility bills is likely to renew complaints from consumer and business advocates who argue the deregulation of the electric and gas industries nine years ago has saddled customers with some of the highest electric bills in the nation.

Since the state broke up the electric monopolies back in 1999, the utilities have resorted to an annual on-line auction to purchase the supplies they need for most residential and small businesss customers. This past week, the utilities locked up $7 billion worth of supplies to deliver to their customers over the next three years, beginning in June.

KOLYMA: The Land of Gold and Death

In total, between 1937 and 1953, as estimated by Robert Conquest, Kolyma consumed almost 3 million lives, mainly natives of the Soviet Union. Numerically the Polish losses were a mere fraction of the total, but less than 5% of them survived. Of the 12,000 Poles sent to that region between 1940 and 1941 only 583 men returned alive.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Funny how this slave labor camp and the people who died in it are never mentioned in schools, movies and TV.

Cheney Warns Of Another Mass Terror Attack

As to the specifics of this new verbal threat, it may not be imminent, but it does give a strong hint that the powers behind government are planning to perpetrate another terror attack. The dramatic circumstances would naturally force President Obama to once again apologize for changing course and begin to champion anew the same aggressive tactics on terror that the preceding administration did. That is the intent, I believe, of Cheney's threatening stance.

Lobby? What Lobby?

My speech seemed well received, but in January I received a call from Jamestown's president telling me I had been terminated as a senior fellow by the Foundation's board of directors. Why, I asked? He responded by citing my comments about Obama doing the "Tel Aviv two-step" and my description of Emanuel's record, both of which he said might be in a speech by Rep. Ron Paul. My remarks about Emanuel apparently sparked particular anger among the Foundation's directors, as Jamestown's president referred to them at least three times in a short telephone conversation. In any event, the president said several major financial donors to Jamestown threatened to withdraw funding if I remained a senior fellow, so I was getting the boot. Then he added that my every-other-week essays for Jamestown's Terrorism Focus had attracted readers and praise for the Foundation, so the directors said I could keep writing for the journal. I declined this honor, which seemingly was a bribe made in the hope that I would not speak publicly about being terminated as a senior fellow for saying the current state of the U.S.-Israel relationship undermined U.S. national security.
