A key theme I’ve tried to highlight in this publication is that the same medical catastrophes keep repeating (because those responsible are never held accountable), so by understanding what happened in the past, you can see and understand what is happening now and what will likely happen in the future.

For example, because vaccines are “risky but necessary,” the medical profession and government, again and again, concluded that they needed to tell the public all vaccines were “safe and effective” as the potential injuries a mass vaccination campaign would cause were outweighed by “necessary” benefit the vaccines could offer. As such, examples can be found again and again of severe injuries being systematically covered up for the “greater good” (e.g., the earliest documented example I know of this happened in 1874 with the smallpox vaccine) and health authorities concocting the same set of excuses we’ve seen since smallpox as to why those vaccines failed to prevent the diseases they were supposed to.

Since the risks outweigh the benefits for most vaccines (detailed here), a mass vaccination paradigm can only be sustained by censoring all evidence of harm, and then using that absence of evidence as proof the vaccines are safe. As such, over the decades, we’ve seen more and more be done to conceal those harms.

A male college student falsely accused of sexual assault scored a major victory for due process and equal rights late last month, after a federal jury found the University of Maryland failed to protect him from severe harassment after he was falsely accused and ultimately cleared through the school’s own Title IX process.

The jury sided with the falsely accused student — identified as John Doe in a federal lawsuit reviewed by The Daily Wire — who accused the University of Maryland of failing to protect him from severe harassment, including a student-led smear campaign, after he was fully cleared from from the female student’s allegations.

No one gives a fuck about October 7.

Anyone who hadn’t been following the Israel-Palestine issue very closely was on Israel’s side that day. And then the bombs started dropping.

President Trump is stoking outrage among California Democrats and at least one House GOP candidate after he suggested at a midterm rally that he would allow Iran to “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego. 

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) led the charge, telling The Hill on Tuesday that Trump is “mentally ill.” 

“TIME FOR THE 25TH!” the governor said in a statement.

Los Angeles voters approved Measure ULA in 2022. The law adds a real estate transfer tax on sales above about $5.3 million to fund housing and homelessness programs. The city’s housing department says most revenue flows to an affordable housing program, plus preservation and prevention efforts. Supporters say the measure raised more than $1 billion, which they hail as a major win for tenant aid and future construction. Those dollars, however, must still turn into homes people can live in.

UCLA’s Lewis Center examined market data since the tax began in April 2023. The researchers found a sharp decline in permitting for new multifamily homes and concluded the tax is reducing annual apartment production by at least 1,910 units. Their analysis compares activity inside Los Angeles with nearby areas without the tax. The result points to a clear pattern: when the city taxes large property transfers, fewer of those deals occur, and fewer sites move forward into actual housing projects.

The Trump administration announced Tuesday that it will not refund taxpayers the $20 million it spent on national TV ads that have ostensibly been commercials of the president.

While the president reversed course and announced that money from his political group will pay for the ads, the U-turn may have come several lights too late. 

Federal prosecutors won convictions against Jael Watts, 45, of Alloway, New Jersey, and Luis Pino-Copete, 42, of Bogota, Colombia, in Utica, New York, after a multi-week jury trial. The jury found both guilty on all counts in a sweeping scheme to loot federal program funds meant for at-risk Americans, including the elderly, disabled, and homeless. The Department of Justice reported the verdict and said the scheme reached across multiple states. Sentencing will follow under federal law, which carries serious penalties.

Prosecutors said Watts and Pino-Copete ran the scam through Pearl Transit Corporation, a New Jersey shell company. They submitted false reimbursement claims that pretended to cover rides for elderly and disabled riders. Reporters summarized that the couple sought more than $13 million using this setup. Evidence at trial showed the company had no real drivers or service and relied on paperwork to mimic real transit operations. The false claims targeted state and local administrators of federal pass-through funds.

The Justice Department’s Weaponization Working Group reported that Biden administration officials looked for ways to prosecute parents and protesters who addressed school officials during the pandemic. The report says these actions chilled parental speech and targeted people who lawfully objected to policies. It also describes internal concerns about a federal basis for cases. The report’s findings revive questions about how far Washington reached into local debates, and where protest ends and crime begins.

The Working Group’s description tracks with oversight claims that the 2021 push blurred the line between threats and protected speech. The group cites steps to find federal enforcement options, and references Federal Bureau of Investigation screening activity tied to school-board incidents. While threats are never acceptable, the report argues the policy cast too wide a net and risked treating parents as suspects for speaking out on masks, curriculum, and spending in their own communities.

Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin, the leader of Israel’s Zehut party, who has a clear path to a seat in the Knesset in the upcoming election, has said in a new interview that it would be “moral” to kill babies in Gaza.

Feiglin made headlines last year when he declared that every child and every baby in Gaza is the “enemy,” a viewpoint he doubled down on in an English-language interview that was published by The Jerusalem Post on Monday.

Feiglin said in the interview that he personally doesn’t want to see babies killed even though he thinks it is “morally” the right thing to do, and that he would prefer all Palestinians to be expelled from Gaza instead.

“I’m saying again again because I’m Jewish and I guess I’m a bit a little bit weak morally. I don’t want to see babies killed, okay? Morally, that should have been done, because of everything I explained. So, but because … I’m Jewish with a soft heart, I would open the borders and let them all go, but no one can stay. And it has to be a part of the Jewish land, Jewish state,” he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Feiglin said it was “100%” a Jewish point of view to “wipe out” Gaza, expel all the Palestinians, and annex Gaza and the West Bank. He labeled all of Gaza as the “enemy,” not just Hamas.

So the killing of Palestinian infants"... should have been done",  then, how, and by whom, sir?!?

Trust me;  this is the kind of guy who would love to see Palestinian infants killed at the point of a bayonet,  but wants the Israeli electorate to think he'd authorize mass euthanasia instead, so it would like they  "were just going to sleep", NOT getting chemically murdered.

To paraphrase the late Gertrude Stein, "Murder... is murder...is murder."

And with neighboring Islamic countries filled to the brim with Palestinian refugees and their families to the point where they can accept no more, where, please, are these people supposed to go?!?

Stanford neuroscientist Andrew Huberman is predicting a startling future in which humans could undergo gene therapy and use an AI-powered wearable to literally turn up their own motivation.

Huberman laid out the futuristic scenario during an appearance on the "Invest Like the Best" podcast, describing technology that could allow people to genetically modify specific neurons in their brains and later activate them using light or ultrasound.

"This is where we're going to end up," Huberman told host Patrick O'Shaughnessy. "I know it sounds scary."

Huberman claimed that the process could begin with an injection containing an engineered virus. Rather than causing an infection, the virus would act as a "vector" carrying genetic material into the brain.

That genetic material could make specific neurons responsive to outside stimulation.

A person could then put on something resembling a baseball cap or wool hat capable of directing light or ultrasound through the skull, according to Huberman. While the stimulus could hit a broader area of the brain, only the genetically targeted neurons would respond.

"You could flicker the light," he explained. "You're going to work through all the different parameters that allow you to turn those neurons from, you know, inactive to active to more active to hyperactive and dial it down."

The most dystopian part is that humans may not even be the ones controlling the switch.

Huberman predicted that artificial intelligence could eventually determine how much stimulation a person needs, potentially increasing activity in certain neural circuits when someone suffering from severe motivational problems needs a boost.

However, the sci-fi technology might not be limited to treating disorders.

Huberman explained to O'Shaughnessy people with otherwise "healthy levels of motivation" could potentially use the same system if they simply "want to ramp it up."

"I know it sounds scary," he said, "but it's absolutely going to happen for the people that want to do it."

Claire's Observations: As long as people who wanted positive change were able to control the technology, I see absolutely nothing wrong with this.

What would I want to change for myself?!?  My motivation isn't the problem; I am well motivated, as a  creative and composer; I love being in the process of creating music and lyrics.

What two things would I change, if I actually had the power to do it?!?  

First, being right handed, but left eye dominant.  

Secondly, I would love to be able to sightread music, which I absolutely cannot do.

Yes, I can create music; but sight-reading has been... "the bridge too far".

 That ability to see the next notes, and get my hands in position to play them, and then play them, has never been something I have been able to do this lifetime, in spite of numerous tries and approaches.  Resolving those two issues.... would be heavenly!! :-)

The Iran war could claim a casualty far more consequential than a missile battery, an air base, or an oil tanker: the petrodollar system.

For more than 50 years, US protection of the Gulf monarchies has helped support global demand for dollars and US government debt. That bargain may now be coming under strain.

The concept is straightforward.

The US provides military protection to countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar.

In return, these countries price much of their oil in US dollars and recycle large amounts of their oil revenue into US financial assets, including Treasuries.

Call it an alliance.

Call it a strategic partnership.

I prefer to call it a protection racket.

Whatever name you choose, the arrangement has provided enormous support for the dollar since Nixon severed its last link to gold in 1971.

Oil sits at the center of the global economy. Every industrial economy needs it. If countries need dollars to participate in the global oil trade, they have a powerful reason to hold dollars.

That creates demand for the currency that has nothing to do with buying American goods or services.

It also creates demand for US financial assets.

Oil exporters earn dollars. They need somewhere to put them. For decades, a large portion flowed back into US banks and Treasury securities.

That helped deepen the Treasury market, support the dollar, suppress US borrowing costs, and finance deficits that no other country could sustain.

But every protection racket depends on one thing:

The protector must provide protection.

The Iran war threatens that premise.

If the Gulf monarchies conclude that the US cannot protect their oil infrastructure, shipping lanes, cities, and regimes from Iran, why should they continue upholding their side of the bargain?

That question could reshape the international monetary system.

And one man warned almost exactly 20 years ago about the signal that would tell us this shift had begun.

Back in July, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda declared that his country must be part of the NATO alliance's nuclear sharing program: "We would like to be the integral part of this nuclear deterrence," he had said at the time.

He was addressing a big hurdle written into Lithuanian law, namely the existent constitutional ban on nuclear weapons from Lithuanian territory.

But on Tuesday the effort to overturn the ban passed its first big test, with the Lithuanian parliament, the Seimas, having voted 106-18 to advance a constitutional amendment that would reverse the ban.

Claire's Observations:   Lithuania.... wants to be a part of the NATO alliance's nuclear sharing program?!?  This country is about the size of West Virginia; about 230 miles wide, and 185 miles long!!   You could drive across it in a day.

 (Sigh) If this happens, who's next in Europe wanting to join NATO and participate?!?  Andorra? Lichtenstein? San Marino?  Monaco?  The Vatican?!? (PLEASE, Pope Leo; kindly tell the world that this is NOT HAPPENING?!?)
