On Friday morning, the House Education and the Workforce Committee revealed on social media platform X that it is serving subpoenas to Harvard Corporation Senior Fellow Penny Pritzker, Interim President Dr. Alan Garber, and Harvard Management Company's Chief Executive Officer N.P. Narvekar "for failing to produce priority documents related to the Committee's antisemitism investigation." 

A parent has shared a distrubing worksheet provided to students in a Seattle Public School high school English class as part of Black Lives Matter at School Week with KTTH radio host Jason Rantz.

Rantz reports that students in a World Literature and Composition class at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy.”

Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The lesson plan has one local father speaking out, calling it “educational malpractice.”

Teachers are suing California Gov. Gavin Newsom and California Attorney General Rob Bonta in federal court over policies they say force them to conceal the transgender status of young students from parents.

The lawsuit comes after the governor signed several laws in September 2023 that expanded California’s protections for LGBT individuals.

A bill to require public and charter schools in the state to socially “transition” children who request using a different name than their birth name is making its way through the Colorado legislature.

Massachusetts public school administrators forced a middle schooler to remove a shirt acknowledging there are only two human sexes. The incident occurred on March 21, 2023, when Liam Morrison wore a T-shirt that reads, “There Are Only Two Genders” to Nichols Middle School in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Morrison attended the school as a seventh grader at the time of the incident.

Jefferson County Schools has issued an update on their actions in the wake of the arrest of a now former Jefferson High School English teacher.

Local law enforcement made the school system aware of the arrest of Edgar Conn, 37, on a fugitive of justice charge out of the state of Georgia, where he faces eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor out of Cobb County.

“A prioritized search of all electronic records for inappropriate content was launched by law enforcement,” according to the update.

On Jan. 17, the Israeli military detonated 315 mines to destroy Gaza’s last standing university, al-Israa University, located south of Gaza City. For 70 days prior, the Israelis occupied the university as a military base, posting snipers in its buildings and using it as a detention and interrogation center. According to university authorities, prior to the detonation Israeli soldiers looted the university museum, which contained 3,000 artifacts dating back as far as the Roman era.
