Any attempt by Syria to oppose Lebanese Hezbollah will lead to a full-scale conflict on Syrian territory. Damascus received a corresponding warning from Tehran. 

Iran warned Middle Eastern countries of the consequences of interfering in the Lebanese conflict. The warning primarily targeted Syria, which Trump intended to use instead of Israel against Hezbollah, as well as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, the main players in the region. Türkiye acted as an intermediary, conveying the warning to Syria. 

In its statement, Iran emphasizes that if Syria decides to participate in the American adventure, a series of powerful strikes will be carried out on the country's territory. missile strikes, including on the presidential palace in Damascus. Iran has many ballistic missiles, and the systems Defense Syria has practically none. The Iranian military has already identified around a hundred strategic targets.

Claire's Observations:  I keep praying that SOME adults in the room on all sides, will walk back from any further military actions, sit down, and actually negotiate in good faith to get this madness to stop. 

As a Christian Pacifist Activist who never advocates violence, I do NOT want to see one more American kid; one more Iranian kid; one more Lebanese kid; one more Syrian kid, or one more Israeli kid killed or maimed for life in this, to essentially  protect the monied interests who, and which, are make a killing (literally, and figuratively) from of  this war.
