Decades of bloated government, entitlements, subsidies, and mass migration have destroyed Europe's competitiveness and growth, all paid for with ever-rising taxes and more debt. They have also created enormous social discontent. Taxpayers are exhausted, and the recipients of subsidies are looting and vandalizing the streets. The flames in French cities are the bill that is arriving.

Spain’s government has become embroiled in a dispute with Argentinian President Javier Milei after the latter accused Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of being a “dictator” while endorsing his right-wing political rivals.

Speaking at an event in Madrid on Wednesday, Milei claimed that Spain “suffers [with socialism] under the disgraceful dictator Pedro Sanchez,” and urged voters to “kick the socialists out, because you are the cradle of liberalism.”

NATO will send additional military equipment and aircraft to the Black Sea, following a series of drone attacks on shipping vessels in the key waterway.

Allison Hart, NATO's principal spokeswoman, said in an Oct. 20 post on X that the assets will support surveillance, reconnaissance, and forensic activities.
